She Means Business — Empowering Women Through Entrepreneurship

In a time where economic sustainability, innovation, and inclusive growth are becoming national priorities, empowering women through entrepreneurship is no longer optional — it is essential for building a resilient and progressive ecosystem.

With this vision, successfully organized She Means Business, a one-day Women Entrepreneurship Expo aimed at promoting women-led startups, entrepreneurial culture, innovation, and SDG-driven economic participation.

The event brought together emerging entrepreneurs, students, startups, faculty members, and ecosystem enablers under one platform to showcase business ideas, products, creativity, and market potential. More than 20 startups participated in the expo, representing diverse sectors including fashion, food, handmade products, cosmetics, art, services, and youth-led innovative ventures.

The response from the university community was remarkable, with an estimated footfall of 500–1000 visitors throughout the event. Beyond engagement and awareness, the event produced measurable economic outcomes that reflected the real potential of women-led entrepreneurship:

• Around 60–80% of participating startups successfully generated revenue during the event.
• Approximately 30–40% of startups not only recovered their initial investment but also became profitable on the spot.

These results demonstrate an important reality: when young entrepreneurs — especially women — are provided with visibility, institutional support, market access, and confidence, they are capable of creating real economic activity and sustainable business opportunities.

The purpose of She Means Business was not limited to organizing stalls or conducting a university event. The broader objective was to create an entrepreneurial mindset, encourage financial independence, support women empowerment, and strengthen the startup ecosystem through practical exposure and market interaction.

As Community & Digital Media Partner, Founder’s Klub proudly supported this initiative to amplify its reach, visibility, and ecosystem impact. Founder’s Klub strongly believes that sustainable ecosystem development is only possible when entrepreneurship becomes inclusive and accessible for women, youth, and emerging innovators.

Through media support, ecosystem collaboration, startup promotion, and entrepreneurial advocacy, Founder’s Klub aims to contribute toward a stronger culture of innovation, empowerment, and opportunity creation. Supporting women entrepreneurs is not just social impact — it is economic development, ecosystem strengthening, and long-term nation building.

The success of She Means Business reflects what becomes possible when institutions, communities, and ecosystem builders collaborate with a shared mission: empowering people to build, create, and grow.

This is not the end of an event.
It is the beginning of stronger entrepreneurial participation, greater women-led innovation, and a more sustainable startup ecosystem for the future.
